Crokinole, and Lost

So last night was the 9th annual crokinole tournament at the church here. A great time of the +55 and Sr. Youth being paired up for some serious gaming. Let me just say thAT the seniors in our church take the sport of crokinole VERY seriously. Congrats to Eva Hiebert (+55) and Reynaldo Reimer for cleaning up the competition. Now your name will go down forever on our trophy! I should say that this is Eva's second year as the Grand Champion. For an older lady she sure has skills.

This post is a little later than normal today because I've been working on a little movie project for Sunday morning (highlights of the tourney) Anyway all I have to say about that is, Macs are SOOOOOO much better when it comes to video editing. Microsoft... bite me!

Well last night after I got home I watched American Idol (go old guy) and Lost. I don't normally watch lost (since it's on a youth night) but I'd seen a preview for this one and I just had to see what was going to happen. I must say it was an interesting walk into the dark side of humanity and the things that we can be capable. Sayid Jarrah (who was an Iraqi soldier turned torturer for the Americans during the gulf war) returns to the skills he learnt a lifetime ago. Very interesting, very scary. But all in all a great episode, and almost enough to get me hooked.... but not quite.

This is completely random, because I don't know your email address, but for babysitting on Saturday, what time is it, if I am signed up for the afternoon slot?
