No Opportunity Wasted

One of my youth leaders here in town is applying for the CBC reality show No Opportunity Wasted. It's a show where people take on their fears and see what can happen. Personally I think Dwight would be awesome for a show like this, I would watch every episode. Anyway one of the things he had to do was make a video of himself telling why he should be accepted. Well I would say this video shows all the reasons why!!!

Snowboarding

So yesterday was a blast. I never got really good at it, nor did I manage to make it down the hill more than 20 feet at a time. And today I can't turn my head, and I have a killer pain in my rigth wrist, but it was totally worth it and I can't wait to go again later this month. Anyway here is a few shots of me trying my hand at snowboarding.

Canada 4 Russia 2

Just got back from watching the Canada/Russia hockey game. It was a pretty sweet game, and very awesome to see the Canadian Gold Rush continue.
Anyway here is a video of one of the most embarrassing things that can happen on the rink.... this will go down in history.

A few thoughts before leaving

So here is a great game to test your typing skills. It starts sort of slow, but pretty soon I was all tense doubled over my keyboard, so check out Spell fast or Die.

So I'm leaving for a week today, off to Charlotte NC, of course today we have the worst weather of the year so far. But we'll go slow, and eventually we'll get away from all the snow. I have some mixed feelings about going. One minute I am bouncing off the walls I am so excited, and then the next I feel very guilty for leaving my wife alone for a week. I really hate leaving Niki. My times with her are the best part about life... and I'm not just being stupidly romantic or anything, I actually believe it.

So I took this video the other day, and I thought I would show you what Lennox does every morning when I come home from work. This dog gets so excited to see me!!! This is why people have dogs, it makes them feel so great about themselves.
